Situated in Tourpes (Leuze-en-Hainaut), Brasserie Dupont is incorporated into a farm originally dating from 1759. Brewing commenced in 1844. The original beer was a “Saison Beer”, meaning it was brewed in the winter, to be drunk in the following summer by the workers (season workers) in the fields. Since 1950, Brasserie Dupont has specialized in the production of top fermented beers with a secondary fermentation to produce a brilliant carbonation.
